I’ve said it time and time again. When it comes to buying food, I like to support local independent businesses. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against buying from large supermarket chains and I do so all the time; but for certain things like meat, I always try my best to buy from my local butchers or farms. I can find out exactly where my meat has come from, and how it has been looked after.

That’s what I love about Keevil & Keevil. All their meat is ethically sourced from Smithfield Market, independent farmers, and small producers; as well as importing some of the finest meats the world has to offer. Not just that, they also have amazing working relationships with wild game shooters across the country. They can get their hands on the finest and fresh game birds the UK has to offer as they come into season. (Maybe one of these days ill be able to go on one of the hunts hahahaha)

They sent me a box full of goodies not long ago and when I opened it I found a Fermier Ancenis chicken, a couple of beautiful sirloin steaks (that have to be one of the tastiest steaks I’ve ever eaten), a pack of buffalo meat which I eventually turned into a Guinness and Buffalo pie, plus a couple of other bits. So all in all, a wonderful box of goodness.

These guys offer everything you need from beautiful meat boxes, poultry, game, sausages, plus a lot more. The beauty is that you don’t have to live in London as they offer a delivery service to almost all of mainland UK. Believe me when I say this; don’t be put off by the thought of getting meat sent in the post, it all comes in a well-packed box that’s full of ice packs and just as fresh as if you went down and picked it up yourself. It could not be any easier, you can buy online or just give them a ring and they will be more than happy to help you with your needs.

What else can I say about Keevil & Keevil apart from if you are a meat lover give them a go you won’t be disappointed.
