Cooking Time 45 minutes - Serves 3 as a side

These potatoes are banging just on their own with your favorite dipping sauce or as a side dish with some grilled meat or fish.


  • 500g of new potatoes.

  • 1 tbsp of jerk seasoning.

Serve with


  • Freshly chopped chives.

  • Thinly sliced red onion.

  • Thinly sliced chillies.


  1. Place the potatoes in a pot of salted boiling water and cook for 15 minutes or until fork-tender. Then, drain the potatoes.

  2. Arrange the potatoes on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Using the bottom of a glass, gently squash the potatoes. Evenly drizzle them with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle jerk seasoning over them. Place the tray in a preheated oven set at 200°C and bake for 30 minutes or until golden and crispy.

  3. Once out of the oven, garnish the potatoes with chives, red onion, and chilies. Serve them with aioli.
