What do you prefer, chunky chips or fries?
For me, it’s fries every time, unless it’s a chippy day.
Although these fries are baked and not fried they are still super crispy, a lot healthier for you and really tasty. Give them a go next time you fancy some chips/fries.
Ingredients
4 large potatoes.
4 tbsp of oil.
2 tsp of smoked paprika.
1 tsp of ground cumin.
1 tsp of coriander.
Dip Ingredients
3 tbsp of mayonnaise.
1 tbsp of yellow mustard.
1 tbsp of runny honey.
1 tbsp of hot sauce.
Method
Cut the potatoes into fries, rinse under cold water then dry.
Into a large roasting tray add the oil, spices, season and mix. If you feel it’s too thick add a little more oil. Tip in the fries and coat nicely in the oil.
Spread the fries out so that they are not touching each other, if need be use 2 trays. Pop into a preheated oven set at 200° for 30 minutes or till cooked and crispy. Turn halfway. Once out of the oven give them a little sprinkling with some salt and garnish with some freshly chopped coriander.
For the dip simply mix all the ingredients together.
